WHAT INSPIRES ME AND WHAT WILL BE MY ZINE ABOUT?

There are so many inputs that have been bringing inspiration to my mind.

Recently Manga and Anime have been an enormous collision point for my creativity. I have always tried to stay on the outline art style after I figured out it was a comfort zone for me but recently, watching Japanese animated series, ignited a sparkle in me.

The way that the characters are formed from the imagination pushes me to create stuff far away form the usual little art that you would see around.

Other than the classic inspirations from the internet, an exceptional spot that has been giving me a lot of originality is Meow Wolf in Denver. Impossible to describe to someone who has never been, this place has something different to show me every time I visit it.

The amount of visual information agglomerated in one place is beyond everybody's expectations. I love that place with all my heart and I wish more people knew about it, but at the same time, I am happy sometimes is not that crowded.

Nature, unfortunately, has always been very suggestive but for me personally has never been a very big brainwave for me.

Another big inspiration has been lots of tattoo artists that I follow on social media such as Instagram or Twitter, who post their artworks mostly every day so e every time I open my profile and refresh my feed I always have a new piece of art to look at.

For my Zine, I've decided to focus my attention on what visually catches my eyes.

Recently at my girlfriend's house, I noticed the album covers of her roommate’s Vynils and they were freaking amazing.

I will probably use the types of vinyl covers to make my Zine and show how many different types of covers there are to show to the public.

On the other side, I would love to concentrate my Zine on Anime and Manga, showing how these Japanese comics can bring so many emotions and feelings together just like reading a book or watching a movie
