ARTIST STATEMENT

This project aimed to explore new ways of making art for me. The amount of potential enclosed in the AI platforms is infinite and can be used to create many new artworks, just by giving commands to the software is possible to create multiple versions of the prompt given. Even though is still a controversial reality, AI can become a powerful source of inspiration, innovation, and elaboration. I had so much fun creating artwork that could have been a pain made by hand. My prompts were usually questions that I wanted to get an answer for. The artworks elaborated were focused on a futuristic, post-apocalyptic theme, filled with unexpected outcomes. At the beginning of the project, I was skeptical, if not Against, AI as I heard multiple artists complaining about their artworks being stolen. It is a reality that most artists need to face as we progress with technology and new ways to create art. Overall it was a very pleasant, instructive experience, that helped me to embrace the potential of the new technologies.
